Halloween at The Fat Lady

If it’s October then the Halloween decorations are out in full swing at the Fat Lady Restaurant in Oakland’s Jack London Square. Regulars anticipate this annual tradition and newcomers dine among gastronomical treats with awe as the restaurant is complete transformed into a cozy home for ghosts and goblins and customers.

Owner Pat Rossi has been producing this intimate pleasure for years and locals have come to expect this month-long salute. Open since 1970, the Fat Lady is a family affair originally created by Rossi’s parents Louis and Patricia Shaterian. The couple, along with their three daughters Pat, Karen, and Cori launched this family tradition with continues today under Pat and Jerry Rossi with a variety of family spirit also participating throughout the years.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

ENTERTAINING NOTES. In keeping with Halloween, The Lot at the City Center San Ramon is hosting its annual Halloween Boo Bash Party on Oct. 31 at 8 p.m. for $30 per person.
