Bachelor Love Hits Home, 'Cruise' to Blackhawk

Pablo Cruise

Fans of the hit ABC show The Bachelor mark your calendars as next Tuesday, August 27 at 10 a.m. tickets officially go on sale for the The Bachelor Live on Stage. The successful romantic reality show heads to San Jose’s Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, February 18, 2020.

Ben Higgens

Hosted by The Bachelor fan favorite Ben Higgens, The Bachelor Live on Stage tour is the latest addition to the “Bachelor” franchise. The television series heads into its 24th season and airs in 31 countries. This latest Bachelor show fits an entire season of drama into one night, giving members of the audience the opportunity to find love in their own backyard, rose ceremony and all.

“I am so pumped to host the Bachelor live tour,” says Higgins. “Bachelor Nation, or maybe I should say the whole Bachelor family, has brought me a ton of joy over the years. I came into this experience as a man trying to process life,” he added, “and as a result you all have celebrated with me in seasons of joy and mourned with me in seasons of pain. I feel like I have friends and family all over the United States because of this show!”

The Bachelor Live on Stage is presented as part of the Broadway San Jose 2019-20 season. Each stage show will introduce an eligible hometown bachelor to local ladies from the audiences searching for a chance at love. Along with the audience, Higgens will guide the bachelor in his “looking for love” journey which includes the first impression rose to group date challenges and one-on-ones that unfold live on stage. Bachelor Nation will also have a say in the rose ceremony which is a first for this winning Bachelor formula. The show promises something for everyone.

“I am ecstatic to be able come to your cities with an amazing team of people from Warner Brothers to visit you and show you all a taste of what it is like to be on The Bachelor,” says Higgins.

Tickets can be purchased starting August 27 at 10 a.m. at www.broadwaysanjose.com, in-person at the City National Civic Box Office (150 w. MUSIC NOTES. “One of the great things about playing shows after all these years is that the core band, David, Steve and myself are still here and lovin’ it,” says Cory Lerios, Pablo Cruise co-founder. “Going out and playing shows these days gives us the opportunity to not only pay tribute to our timeless repertoire, it gives us a chance to see old friends and fans from back in the day as well as gaining a whole new audience!” Fans can sing along with such hits as “Love Will Find A Way” and “Watcha Gonna Do?” when Pablo Cruise appears at Blackhawk Plaza’s Rockin’ The Plaza for the 2019 concert season finale Friday, August 23.
